Grain Markets Lower, Bracing for Trump's Tariffs Announcement, Retaliations
May corn is down 6 1/2 cents per bushel, May soybeans are down 6 cents, May
KC wheat is down 2 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat is down 4 cents and May
Minneapolis wheat is down 5 cents.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 6 1/2 cents per bushel,
May soybeans are down 6 cents, May KC wheat is down 2 1/2 cents, May Chicago
wheat is down 4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is down 5 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed, higher in Asia but lower
in Europe and the U.S. The U.S. market started poorly again Tuesday but once
again rebounded to a mixed close as traders continue to hear mixed messages
regarding the tariffs that will be announced at 3 p.m. CDT on Wednesday. This
will be the last trading day ahead of the tariff announcement and what the
market really wants is some certainty as to what will happen with tariffs
moving forward. Whether that certainty comes Wednesday is still a large unknown.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 11.80 at 41,989.96 and the S&P 500 up 21.22 at 5,633.07. The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.156%. Early Wednesday, the June Dow Jones
Futures are down 159 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures
of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.83%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is
trading down 1.14% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.6%.
Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 0.28% and China's
Shanghai Composite Index up 0.05%.
